Hand Picked Hotels

Hand Picked Hotels has completed a major new build project at Rookery Hall Hotel in Nantwich, Cheshire. This is part of a major project to include 39 brand new bedrooms with 17” TileVision TV’s and Hitachi 37” LCD’s. The hotel is a magnificent Georgian mansion set in 38 acres of gardens, wooded parkland and meadows, bordered by the River Weaver.

Bedroom Integrating into the complete AV solution for Hand Picked Hotels, the TileVision TVs provide the ultimate in bathroom luxury. The guest can relax and have access to a full selection of TV and radio channels using the specially designed waterproof remote control. The TileVision TV’s work completely independently of the bedroom 37” TV’s, which are wall mounted with a DVD player and an MP3 input in the bedroom.

The new building also boasts a high specification conference centre consisting of two large banqueting rooms and four meeting rooms. Hocken designed the audio visual for the two banqueting rooms to incorporate a Christie 5500 ANSI lumen projector, mounted in a scissor lift mechanism so that the projector is completely concealed when not in use.

There is also a state of the art AMX control system that controls the equipment in each room from a colour 8.4” touch screen. Each of the four conference rooms has a 50” wall mounted Panasonic plasma screen with input for laptop computer and TV.
