PLB Group
The PLB Group has grown to become one of the UK’s largest suppliers to the multiple trade, with a producer base extending across Europe to the Americas, Australasia and South Africa. They have a team of over 50 professionals working to find, evaluate and import new wines that will help their customers build their businesses.
Their main business is to bring the UK wine trade the widest selection of high-quality wines from around the world with an ability to respond quickly to changing market demands.
PLB Group contacted us to install separate two presentation systems to increase effectiveness of both their client and internal meetings in it’s 18th century headquarters, Dorset House in East Grinstead.
PLB Group wanted to present information in their boardroom and, because of the age and beauty of their listed building, it was decided that the tidiest and most discreet way to install this was with a wall mounted 50” Panasonic plasma screen with concealed wiring and a subtle input plate to provide connection of the presenters laptop computer.
A wireless keyboard and mouse is also used to keep visible technology to a minimum to allow maximum impact of displayed images.
They also have a delightful converted barn in which they hold regular meetings and to keep it simple and discreet we installed an Epson EMP-1810, 3500 ANSI lumen projector using the existing white wall as the screen.
Stephen Walder, PLB Group Director who commissioned the installation says “We are delighted with both installations and we now have two professional, fully equipped meeting rooms. Hocken provide an excellent service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”
